European jazz has assumed many original forms in recent years, with powerful echoes of folk and classical traditions. From Wednesday 17 to Saturday 20 March, Kings Place will celebrate the contrasting sounds of four leading woodwind players from different corners of the continent - all of them distinctive composers as well as virtuoso instrumentalists; John Surman, Gianluigi Trovesi, Louis Sclavis and Andy Sheppard.
