Goran Bregović returns on 18 May with his incredible 20-piece 'Weddings & Funerals' band – a stunning live group. Bregović is a true superstar in the Balkan states and beyond; widely credited with pushing Gypsy music to the forefront of popular consciousness across the world; this is an incredibly rare chance to see the maestro in the UK.
Over his 30-year career, Bregović has uniquely entwined Balkan folk music and gypsy brass with rock and classical influences to create his sound; as well as working closely for many years with director Emir Kusturica on sound-tracks for Time of The Gypsies, and Underground.
