Saxophonist/composer Andy Sheppard has just been described as a serial collaborator, having forged fascinating creative partnerships that cross musical and geographical borders, with artists as varied as Joanna MacGregor, Nana Vasconcelos, Carla Bley, and Kuljit Bhamra.

Described in The Guardian as a musical ‘gem’, his witty and lyrical conversations with the brilliant Italian pianist Rita Marcotulli have all-too rarely been heard in London – and play in contrast to his full-throated and muscular saxophone/percussion dialogue with one of the UK’s great drummers, Seb Rochford.
