With a string of sell-out shows, and an ever-growing international following, Krystle Warren has quickly become hot property. She hails from Kansas City and learned to play the guitar by listening to Rubber Soul and Revolver. Busking on the streets of New York and Paris, she honed a distinctive musical style that merges jazz, blues, folk, funk and pop, combining a range of influences from Rufus Wainwright to Betty Carter, Willie Nelson to Nina Simone.

There is no Krystle Warren-shaped pigeon-hole. The last twelve months have seen her equally at home touring with the high priests of “vocal play” Naturally 7, appearing alongside the likes of Green Gartside, Teddy Thompson, and Robyn Hitchcock on the Way To Blue – The Songs of Nick Drake tour, opening for Mercury Award winning Portico Quartet and most recently playing two sell out shows at Southbank Centre as part of Richard Thompson’s Meltdown.

Krystle Warren’s latest album Circles is out now on Manu Chao’s label Because.

Combining an infectious onstage energy with a cracking sense of humour, Krystle live is a treat.

Warren's voice is an extraordinary instrument, murmuring with tenderness at times, growling with intensity at others. It vividly recalls Nina Simone in its depth and smokiness, as well as John Martyn and Buckley in terms of virtuosic variety.” Guardian

Warren's talents are extraordinary. She's the real deal.” The Observer

Katell Keineg grew up in Brittany and in Wales and made her name as a singer/songwriter first in Ireland and then in New York playing the Sin-é Café alongside Jeff Buckley et al. Her first two albums for Elektra are considered cult classics and subsequent releases were on Brooklyn micro-label Field Recording Co. Her wonderful new album "At The Mermaid Parade" was released on Honest Jon's Records this spring and received rave reviews including CD of The Week from the Sunday Times; “…vocals that alternately soar and crack, lyrics both allusive and direct, rough-hewn, carefree, ramshackle folk arrangements that dance with abandon and are resolutely uncontainable. An uncompromising and long overdue return.”
