Join us on Sunday afternoon for a family friendly matinee with Ludovico Einaudi.

Einaudi’s sweeping compositions draw inspiration from rock, classical music and contemporary pop,  but always with the piano at the centre of the sound. His work has struck a strong visual response with audiences and film directors alike; parts of his album Divenire were used in the soundtrack to Shane Meadows’ film This is England and other past albums such as Eden Roc, Le Onde, I Giorni and Una Mattina have been woven into a variety of film scores.

This performance welcomes young people and accompanying adults to hear a selection of Einaudi’s best known and much loved classics from his critically acclaimed solo albums.  A rare chance to hear this maestro in an informal setting.

"If you expect a normal piano concert, think again!  This is an exploration, a thrilling and unpredictable challenge, that opens up new paths for our music" – La Repubblica

The show will last for approximately an hour without an interval and is intended only for adults accompanied by young people.

Suggested age: 7+ years
