An all-American partnership, featuring versatile mandolin player Chris Thile and pianist Brad Mehldau in what promises to be an exciting and thought provoking collaboration.

Part of Brad Mehldau's curatorship at Wigmore Hall. Following the success of the 2009/10 season, Mehldau continues his curatorship in 2011, inviting friends from across the musical spectrum to participate in a variety of duo performances, which will explore the limits of improvisatory and experimental contemporary composition.
