He's played with some of the great names of African music including Ali Farka Touré, Manu Dibango and Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and returns tonight with a mesmerising solo set that juxtaposes his raw, passionate voice and intensely emotive melodies with an ingenious use of loops, samples and effects.
