Funders and Other partners
We work with funders collaboratively to the mutual benefit of all involved. Funders can be confident that Serious will consistently meet and exceed expectations.
Serious is a regularly funded client of Arts Council England. The Arts Council’s support underpins a wide range of our activity including the annual London Jazz Festival and our Learning & Participation Programme.
Serious has been awarded additional funding from the Arts Council as part of the new Black Routes initiative to support African and Caribbean music. This involves a consortium of five organisations working together over two years.
Serious’ work work has also been supported by many other funders and partners including:
- British Council
- Department of Culture, Media and Sport
- Department for Education and Skills (now the DCSF)
- Esmée Fairbairn Foundation
- European Commission
- European Cultural Foundation
- Greater London Authority
- Jerwood Charitable Foundation
- Paul Hamlyn Foundation
- PRS for Music Foundation
